  We were traveling on I-35 N from the Kansas City area to St Germaine Wisconsin and wanted a non-chain restaurant to have breakfast! We found a classic of a downtown diner! The waiter/host was excellent and very friendly! As a matter of fact , everyone was friendly! The food was delicious and the price was reasonable at a great value for the dollar. We remarked to the owner, Janna, "what a wonderful place it was!" We got a tour of the rest of the building. It was the Vintage Ballroom and Suites which would be a perfect location for parties, reunions, and weddings. It is exquisitely decorated! (I would love to hire her to do my house!) We also visited their charming boutique called "Finally, A Gift Store" and bought some wonderful and unique items. We will make sure when we pass through next year that we stay in the hotel and enjoy the restaurant once again! What a charming place we stumbled upon- you do not want to miss it!
